Christian Service
Each year, students are required to complete 25 hours of Christian Service as part of their graduation requirement. This reflects a commitment to our mission as a Viatorian school and our conviction that service to others is a constitutive element of the Christian life.

Saint Viator High School's Christian Service Experience Guide will answer most of your questions about the Christian Service requirement, including the number of hours and the type of service that is accepted. If you have questions regarding the Christian Service Experience, please contact Ms. Betsy Fons, Christian Service Coordinator in Campus Ministry at extension 268. View service guide (2011-2012)

*** Please note: Each student should have service hours pre-approved through Ms. Fons. Pre-approval forms are available only in Campus Ministry.

Service Opportunities
As outlined in the Service Guide, service hours are split into three categories. Throughout the year, service projects will be made available to the students through Campus Ministry and on the Web. The list of service opportunities in each category will be updated as new experiences become available. If you have questions about a service opportunity, you may contact the agency directly or Ms. Fons in Campus Ministry.

Permission forms for the service trips that the Saint Viator Campus Ministry department takes students on each month are available in the Campus Ministry Office.
