Student Life
// Book Buy Back
Senior Book Buy
Back Day is immediately following Baccalaureate practice on
Thursday, May 14.
Junior, sophomore
and freshman Book Buy Back day is
immediately
after the last exam at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3.
All students will
return to their homeroom with the books that they wish to sell. If
a student does not wish to sell books, he/she will write “NO BOOKS
TO SELL” on the form and the student will be excused. Students
wishing to sell books will list the books to be sold on the Buy
Back Credit Memo. The homeroom teacher will check the condition of
the books and assign a rating. Students will bring their books to
the gym along with the credit memo.
Juniors,
sophomores and freshmen will receive
a receipt stating the amount of the credit that will be applied to
the August book bill.
Seniors will
get a credit in one of two ways: a credit which may be applied to a
younger sibling’s book bill in August or a check mailed home to
their parents.
PLEASE NOTE: The
choice to buy your book is determined by its condition and the
number of books needed for next year. Books that have cracked
bindings, torn pages, excessive writing, peeled covers, or any type
of obscenities written in or on them will not be accepted.
If your book has a cracked or broken binding, see
Mrs. O'Laughlin in the Resource Center. She may be able to fix it
for a fee.
