Tommy Kwon ‘23, University of California - Berkeley

Studying and living in the United States has helped me grow socially and exposed me to more diverse ideas and people than I would have had the opportunity to interact with in Korea. At Saint Viator, I was able to become friends with students from a variety of backgrounds, and through this more expansive social network, I have engaged with people whose life experiences greatly differ from my own. This experience is invaluable and has helped me grow and prepare for my life at an American university, and eventually for working in a globally connected world.
