Red Asynchronous Remote Learning Day - Tuesday, January 21
Due to the forecast of unusually frigid weather conditions, including dangerous wind chill temperatures, which have resulted in a Cold Weather Advisory that will sustain through student and faculty arrival times tomorrow, we will transition to asynchronous remote learning for Tuesday, January 21, for all students.
Tomorrow will be a red, asynchronous remote day, and students should check in on Blackbaud by 10:00 a.m. Teachers will communicate with students and families regarding specific learning expectations and assignments.
For athletics and activities, please check with your coach(es) or moderators(s) regarding practices, games, or open gyms.
We understand that this shift to remote learning may cause some inconvenience. However, given that our students travel from various places throughout Chicagoland, we believe this shift to remote learning is the most responsible choice to ensure the well-being of our students and faculty.
We will continue to monitor the weather situation closely and provide updates as needed.
Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe and warm.
