    Saint Viator Alumna Returns for the Holidays to the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre

    Dickens’ holiday classic, “A Christmas Carol,” is running this month at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights, and the theater’s Executive Director David Victor describes it as one of their best. He points to dynamic lighting, music, and choreography, and, he adds, the singing is exceptional.

    New head football coach Robbie Gould was introduced formally on Thursday at a press conference in Cahill Gym and he described just how excited he is to lead the program.

    “I’m super excited to be here,” Coach Gould said at the outset. “It’s just a really good opportunity to come and build a program with a lot of the core values I believe in.”

  • Sophomore Figure Skater Qualifies for Junior Nationals at the U.S. Figure Skating Association Championships

    Evan Neuhaus ’27 started taking figure skating lessons when he was seven, and by the time he was 10, he began competing. Now, he is hitting his stride, literally. Think triple Lutz combinations, double axels, and triple Salchow jumps, for starters.

    Landing these difficult elements helped Evan earn 2nd place among novice men at the U.S. Figure Skating Midwest Sectionals last week in Plano, Texas. His second-place finish earned him a berth to Junior Nationals, which will take place in January in Wichita. There, he will be among 20 qualifiers from across the country competing for a chance at gold. Only the top two finishers from each sectional advanced.
